“Unfortunately in December 2020 we had a mass outbreak of Covid 19 at Manchester Piccadilly Station meaning that 49 out of 94 staff were off with either Covid, shielding or track and trace.
We needed to run the whole station, including the platform despatch, retail and gateline on this limited numbers safely and in line with Covid restrictions
Zoe Shaw was the only Team Leader who managed to stay a constant throughout of all of this time (which lasted for several weeks) and support each department through the nightmare that was “Covidgate”
I wanted to say a huge thank you to Zoe for everything that she did during this time including arranging fogging, staffing, rostering, dealing with PTI incidents and day to say activities on top of her normal job, I don’t know what I would have done without her during this time, Thank you Zoe you were a superstar x“
