Said the following about Harry Levey:

“Harry Levey is an Internal Communications Manager at Network Rail, who consistently uses his position to support LGBT+ inclusion and ensure LGBT+ voices have a platform.

Harry is also an active member of Archway’s leadership team, the company’s LGBT+ employee network, and over the last three years, he has led the company’s presence at multiple Pride marches throughout Great Britain. He has played a significant role in improving the visibility of Pride across the business and in Britain’s biggest and busiest stations.

In 2020, he organised and led the first annual industry-wide virtual Pride festival which brought together 17 companies and over 500 colleagues and in 2021 he continued that, almost doubling the amount of companies involved.

Year 2 in 2021 had 33 organisations involved.“

Said the following about Harry Levey:

“Harry is Deputy Chair of Network Rail's amazing LGBT network group Archway and founder of the Rail Pride Festival, which has been a huge success across the Rail Industry.

Rail Pride Festival was launched in 2020, during lockdown, because Pride parades were not taking place due to social distancing. The webinars rolled out over the 2 weeks were to provide support to those from the LGBT community and a sense of community for them as well as allies across the industry. Harry got numerous industry colleagues together to collaborate on rolling out the events for the festival.

Harry is very talented and a natural leader and managed to lead on rolling out the Festival with the support of a leadership team and with collaborators all over the industry.

It was such a pleasure working with Harry on the leadership team of the Pride Festival. He is such a kind, warm and caring person and even though he had a really busy day job, he put his all into making the 2-week event a success and touching the lives of many industry colleagues and communities through the learning shared during the festival.

Harry definitely deserves to win this award and I really hope he does!“
