“I would like to nominate Tomasz Leski due to his dedication to the AGA Presentation Team and his willingness to step in and help other teams when needed.

Tomasz is Safety Manager for AGA Presentation whilst simultaneously covering the vacant Administration Manager Role.

Tomasz is always the first one to offer his assistance. He remains professional, courteous and approachable at all times and is able to transform any negative situation into a positive one. Going out of his way to ensure a smooth operating department, Tomasz has demonstrated himself to be a positive role model for his peers. He promotes a fair and compassionate environment for his staff and is thorough in training those he manages, remaining focused and dedicated to his responsibilities. Tomasz is a perfect example of an outstanding employee; demonstrating adaptability, maintaining a positive and professional image, going the extra mile when the needs arise - even in areas that are beyond his remit; a total team player!!

Whilst covering the Administration Manager position, the challenging tasks that this role entails have been undertaken with ease and a positive attitude, while Tomasz has continually and consistently delivered as our Safety Manager.

Tomasz is a 'right hand man'; he picks up a lot of departmental project tasks, supports the Senior Team in a number of ways and constantly exceeds all goals and expectations set by himself and myself. He is a sound, trusted and respected individual as well as a genuine and futuristic realist. He is a sounding board, confidante and a supporter and these are just a few qualities that make me grateful to have him as a member of my team.

Tomasz's calm guidance and vast knowledge has been relied upon by a number of individuals who come in contact with the Department. He is part of the glue that holds the Department together.

I first met Tomasz 8 years ago when he was working night shifts for an agency, cleaning trains to make ends meet. He had left his home in Poland and moved to London to work in the UK. After initially talking to him, I was immediately impressed with his understanding of train cleaning and his eye for detail. He was very quickly taken on to the regular establishment of the Company and is desire to improve soon made a strong impression on several mangers in the department. His passion for delivering a clean train and his ability to lead, very quickly got him promoted to Team Leader. During his time leading the team he was involved in the recording of data and he impressed the team with his understanding of the need to deliver KPIs. Based on this enthusiasm and comprehension, Tomasz very soon became the department's Data Analyst which led to his instrumental delivery of the SQS analysing reports and his infallible support to the management team. After constantly striving to improve, Tomasz showed an interest in the safety of the department and following study he was successful in his application for Safety Manager in 2014. Leading us to the present, where thanks to his ability, dedication and drive to deliver, Tomasz is now heading to cover a new role as SQE Manager for AGA Presentation Department. Not forgetting spending a considerable period of time covering the Administration Manager and working on various projects. All this in 8 years!!
