“Toby Tunnacliffe joined Swietelsky directly from school after successfully seeing of the competition to gain a coveted apprenticeship placement.
After attending Seta training facility to obtain a grounding in engineering principles, Toby joined the depot team.
From the start Toby proved himself to be an outstanding apprentice, his work ethic second to none and his quest for knowledge admirable. Toby assisted the depot welder/fabricator during an overhaul of the AFM plough and steep conveyor and was so successful that he now assists in the depot welding requirements.
Toby has had an excellent start to his career with Swietelsky and if he continues on his current trajectory he will qualify and become an outstanding asset to the railway maintenance community.“
