London Bridge StationTeam

Said the following about Team London Bridge:

“‘Team London Bridge’ led by Route Station Manager, Jasmin Sen, and Station Manager, Denis Kirk, have endured one of the most difficult years to date, both in terms of performance challenges, and increased media and public attention. I wish to nominate them to highlight to the industry and general public what hard work and team work look like, dealing with unplanned disruption and reduced station capacity as part of the Thameslink programme improvements.

During this time, Jasmin and Denis have been a constant support to the general public, fellow colleagues, and passengers. The team are enthusiastic, patient and caring and will always set time aside to ensure that each customer receives a personal experience. They are highly thought of by colleagues and always look to work with them and offer support on issues that are not part of the day job. I have heard numerous customers remark positively that the team have gone the extra mile to establish personal rapport, working as one team with a positive can do attitude. This is demonstrated most during times of unplanned disruption and severe weather conditions, when they all roll up their sleeves and focus on the tasks that need to be done without hesitation.

I believe that Team London Bridge deliver a superb service that is not limited to just out of the ordinary circumstances, but is incorporated into the very fabric of the way they work on a daily basis.

As Benjamin Franklin would put it: “Well done is better than well said.”“
