“I am a regular user of Knutsford Station.
Over the last 10 years the team with help from others have transformed the station from an unkempt, tatty station that was very unwelcoming into one people in Knutsford find cheery and welcoming.
And this despite basic facilities, such as no CIS information even though the station's footfall is over 500,000 and a train service that is mainly only hourly (two hourly on Sundays).
They are very much to be congratulated for looking after passengers, especially those who find themselves in distress having lost something or having just missed a train.“
“Well done last Saturday, an excellent evening for which a great deal of planning and hard work had gone into the event and thoroughly enjoyable.”
