Said the following about Tajudeen Gamu:

“Tajudeen who works as a customer host at Hampstead Heath was on a break cover shift at Kilburn High road on 17th August 2015. During this shift, he received a call from the company's control room that there was a suicidal male on the platform who had activated the help point to advice he was about to end his life. Tajudeen hurried down the stairs and engaged with this person. After much persuasion, the male opened up to him and said his care workers were on Holiday and he was fed up as no one was listening to him. Deen provided a listening ear and was able to convince this man to accompany him back to the ticket hall. He made him comfortable by preparing a cup of tea for him until the BTP arrived. Deen insisted to the BTP to take this person away and sign post him to the right agencies.

Deens quick response and excellent customer service saved the day. He was able to prevent a family from mourning a loved one. His actions were praised by the company director.

He is a loveable person and takes his time to offer assistance to customers who travel through his home station.“
