“In 2022 Sukhdev did a series of volunteering at several stations across the south during the Queen's funeral.
There was a catastrophic OLE failure on the GWR network one evening when Sukhdev was volunteering. On this evening he noticed a 92-year-old lady struggling with her luggage, he went over to assist her and quickly discovered how confused and distressed she was, she didn’t know how to get home as all trains had been cancelled due to the OLE failure, Sukhdev not only assisted in calling her a taxi for her at his expense but he also travelled with her in the taxi to ensure she was ok and got home safely. He always goes above and beyond to help his colleague and passengers who travel on the network.“
