“We would like to nominate Sophie for her dedication and for the design of a modification for the depot. This modification which she designed after seeing a problem with the current lead times.
She took the opportunity to design and implement an improvement to an external door push button which has allowed the depot to save money on parts and allowed the lead time they needed to order additional stock.
Sophie also went over and above as she design the modification in her own time, she also supported the design with a dynamic briefing process.
The saving to GTR per unit was £250 per and It goes without saying having this quick thinking young lady has help support the depot, one of our core values is Continuous Improvement and this is a great example of going over and about. Well Done.
