“Sam is an integral part of the team at Wolverhampton, she works in our ticket office but turns her hand to most things, from maintaining and fixing TVMs, chasing up faults, more recently she has taken on the role of looking after our stock levels and liaising with station admin team to place orders, so we never run out of stock. When communicating with customers Sam will go above and beyond to help them even if it seems challenging, she will rise to the occasion, Sam has spotted vulnerable people many times and got them the help they needed. Sam had taken time out to shadow other departments within the business to develop herself and gain extra skills and knowledge. She actively gets involved on busy football days at the station helping to create crowd control, one occasion an event had been missed off the schedule that was taking place in Wolverhampton, about 500 customers were heading to the station when we had engineering works on and no trains, Sam took control of the situation helping the festival goers to get to their bus replacement service while keeping them all safe and moving. Thank you Sam for all your help from the management team you make our job easier.“
