Said the following about Royston Haley:

“Tuesday 4 November 2014 could have been a very dark day for Hull Station when an elderly lady collapsed on the concourse and stopped breathing.

However, Roy’s actions in clearing her blocked airway and administering CPR gave Ms Addison a chance of survival. Sadly, we did not have the happy ending we all hoped for, but it is of great comfort to Ms Addison’s family that they could be with her during her final moments in Hull Royal Infirmary and that dignity was maintained during a difficult situation in a public area of the station. Roy’s colleagues are very proud of the way he put to use his first aid training and he should be immensely proud of what he did. Roy could not have done anymore and his actions on 4 November demonstrated each of the FTPE values that we strive to achieve in support of the business – Roy is a fine ambassador for the Revenue Protection Team and Hull Paragon Station.“
