Said the following about Richard Nagy:

“Richard Nagy is an experienced Rail Manager, who has specialist knowledge in the planning and operational delivery of isolations as he has worked in isolation management for over 10 years. Richard still maintains relevant safety critical competences and regularly undertakes the duties to maintain his understanding of the issues associated with safe delivery of isolations. This also enables him to better understand and communicate with his track-based staff as he has first-hand knowledge of the problems and issues they face during their working day.

Richard joined Bridgeway in 2013 as part of the Thameslink Delivery team as an Isolation Planner and was promoted to Isolation Manger in 2014 when he took over the responsibility for the planning, delivery and resourcing of isolations for the Crossrail project. Crossrail isolations are challenging both to plan and deliver due to the scale of work and number of worksites requiring isolations. Richard and his team work tirelessly both with the Network Rail Delivery team and the Principal Contractors to safely deliver and resource isolation plans to facilitate the demanding work schedules.

Richard has a calm, methodical approach to managing his team and likes to be proactively involved in working with staff and Clients to improve the overall efficiency and safe delivery of work.

Richard has been responsible for developing a number of innovative and practical solutions with measureable efficiencies for improving the safe delivery of isolations which he has implemented for the benefit of all our isolation programmes.

Outside of work, Richard is very much a family man who enjoys spending time with his two daughters who have made sure that he is an expert in all things “Frozen”.“
