“Ray has worked on the railway for near on 20 years and i have never known an Engineer put so much effort and time into the interior and exterior of a train like Ray. He retires this year but even at retirement age he is out there repairing broken windows like he is still 18 and these are heavy trust me. He never fails to deliver when we need stock and he even reminds me that the passenger environment is important. I think he deserves an award like this as the passengers in Kent who travel on our trains that they have a clean train to travel on and Ray has played a huge part in delivering this over the years.“
