Paul Markwell

Said the following about Oliver Morar:

“Oliver Morar joined the Unipart Expert Practices business unit in Unipart Rail in July 2014 having graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in History. Unipart Expert Practices are the specialist consultancy business within Unipart that carries out Lean transformation and Supply Chain Management consultancy projects with clients in the UK and internationally.

Within his first 12 months with the company he has worked on consultancy projects that involved travelling to Malaysia, he supported work in Dubai as well as work in the UK. Oliver has achieved all of the requirements to be a UEP Practitioner through his approach and willingness to learn and develop both in training workshops and with clients on site.

“Oliver has become an ideal Practioner in a very short space of time as he quickly understands complex situations and can identify how and where working practices can be improved. He works well with clients to embed new practices and skills in their teams” says Mark Nogowczyk, his line manger.

Oliver is now working externally with clients independently and has already started to deliver results, including improvements to the supply chain within London Underground as well as working with Northern Rail and London Midland.

Oliver has an ability to pick things up very quickly which has accelerated his development to such an extent that after just 12 months he is now able to deliver the much acclaimed Lean Academy to external clients. This also allows him to understand unfamiliar processes quickly, an important trait when identifying waste and introducing process improvements.“
