“I would like to nominate Laura for her dedication and commitment customer service this year demonstrated in the following activities:
-Continues to proactively design and deliver a local engagement newsletter which she produces in her own time using her own private ‘publisher’ software at home
- Supports station charity events even on her rest days and engages her family in the fun e.g. paying for and dressing up in the xmas station fayre
- helps out with disruption during days off to support her colleagues if they are alone at the station
-Her dad bakes cakes for the station charities such as ‘think pink’ and St Patricks Day
-Purchases things for the station using her own funds e.g. bunting on trooping the colour and xmas outfits
-recognised key events at the station such as giving out apples, putting posters and flags up for events such as trooping the colour and sharing history visuals attracting attention
-keeps a clean station
-canvassed at local businesses for charity donations to a value of £3k and the local radio station became interested and involved
-implemented a sales competition over two years ago which still goes strong
-generally displays an upbeat attitude living the values and lifts other peoples spirits eg when a colleague left to move into a driver role, baked him a personalised train cake!“
