“Johnmarkee is one of our Vital Patrollers that we use to patrol our at risk stations for trespass and vulnerable persons.
Over the last 3 years Johnmarkee has been involved in 18 suicidal interventions, with 5 taking place since April 2023.
Johnmarkee works regularly with Grant Simpson and I would like to nominate them both as a team their experience and quick thinking have saved at least 22 lives that have been recorded, as well as their presence and interactions with the travelling public as they go about their day that cannot be measured. They are friendly, helpful people who are a credit to Vital HR and serve us proud at Network Rail.“
