“Grant is one of our Vital Patrollers that we use to patrol our at-risk stations for trespass and vulnerable persons.
Over the last three years Grant has been involved in 14 suicidal interventions, with six taking place since April 2023.
Grant works regularly with Johnmarkee Lee and I would like to nominate them both as a team as their experience and quick thinking have saved at least 22 lives that have been recorded, as well as their presence and interactions with the traveling public as they go about their day that cannot be measured. They are friendly, helpful people who are a credit to Vital HR and serve us proud at Network Rail.“
