“I would like to nominate Jean for the 'Heart of Gold (Charity) award.
Jean has been involved in so many charity events I have lost track. Jean uses her superb crafting skills to help make lots of things to sell, from baking cakes to stitching ribbons to collecting loose change to name but a few and she does a large amount of this in her own time. Jean lends her skills to everything from Cancer charities to saving dogs on death row.
She spent time recently collecting money to help buy a specialized wheelchair for a young child.
Jean has a wonderful way of reuniting children with lost toys at work by producing lovely little posters and she has been very successful.
There aren't enough words to express how kind hearted this special woman is.
Jean has the biggest heart of gold I know and that's why I am nominating her for this award.“
