“Jacqui Sheppard a Team Organiser at Network Rail, works tirelessly give her time out of her role, and often her personal life to regularly support the route with charity related work. For example, raising over £5,000 through tuck shops, which has enabled us to sponsor a guide dog (which we’ve called Paddington), dress down Friday collections, bake sales, and volunteering events, to supporting the national charities campaigns, there are so many more things that are done and so much money that has been raised, to list them all would produce a novel. Jacqui regularly attends volunteering events, and promotes volunteering and supporting charities on a regular basis.
This level of work is both beyond the call of duty and extremely valuable to the Western Route for Network Rail and our staff and local communities who benefit from this support.
Jacqui has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the past few years through many varied events.“
