“In November 2014 we held a competition across the Southern network, asking passengers to nominate their Customer Service Champion. In total, 200 entries were received and over 12% of these were for Glynes Highland! A selection of the wonderful comments we received about her were:

“Has endless patienceâ€
“Always greets us with a smileâ€
“A real starâ€
There were many other great examples of individuals going out of their way to help our passengers, however Glynes was awarded the title of Customer Service Champion. She stood out not only for the exceptional feedback she received, but her attitude: “I treat all my customers how I would like to be treatedâ€, she said, demonstrating that to Glynes, exceptional customer service is all just part of a day’s work!“
