“I have nominated my team of supervisors at Gillingham Station as they had 12 suicidal interventions in 9 days and managed to talk all but one vulnerable person down from jumping off a bridge. The one vulnerable person who jumped survived with non-life-threatening injuries. The dedication to safeguarding has been exemplary. Despite the mental anguish and toll it has taken on the station team and the gruelling non-stop incidents they continued to support and safeguard. I am extremely proud of them.“
