Said the following about Emma Rees-Kandemir:

“Emma boasts an impressive 25 years in the Aviation industry, having worked for various ground handling companies at both Manchester and Liverpool airports. Throughout this period, she excelled in diverse areas including business support and continual improvement, finance, workforce planning, and resource planning. In the latter part of her aviation journey, Emma held a pivotal role at MAG (Manchester Airport Group), however, her career trajectory took an exciting turn as she transitioned into the rail industry, now serving as a Project Manager at Keltbray, and spearheading significant business transformation initiatives.

Emma's daily responsibilities in rail are dynamic and encompass the entire spectrum of the rail business. While departing an industry she embraced since the age of 18 was undoubtedly a challenging decision, Emma's newfound passion for the rail sector, evident in her dedicated work over the past six months, highlights her remarkable adaptability and enthusiasm. In an industry occasionally perceived as antiquated, Emma has defied expectations by proving that substantial change can be affected even without extensive industry-specific experience.

At Keltbray, Emma is an invaluable member of the senior management team, playing a pivotal role in our demanding business transformation program. Demonstrating her prowess, she has already achieved successful outcomes in various critical focus areas, showcasing her potential to continue making a significant impact. With Emma's unparalleled drive, dedication, and passion, we envision a prosperous and enduring rail career for her. In this transition, aviation's loss becomes our gain.“
