Said the following about Elaine Booth:

“Elaine is the first one in in the morning and last one out at night.

She greets all her customers with the same beaming smile regardless of whether its 5.45 am or 11.45 pm.

It doesn't matter if its helping drunk passengers away from the trains, calling them taxi's to help them get home safe after a few drinks or running after elderly passengers , because they have forgotten their tickets.

Elaine goes above and beyond in everything she does and she does it with a super friendly can do attitude.

She is extremely patient with customers and takes the time to explain their ticket and journey options in detail, she's not scared to tackle antisocial behaviour or smoking on the station and works closely with the station adopters and colleagues to ensure we are all delivering a great service and taking good care of the station and our customers.

She also works really hard behind the scenes ordering everything from timetables to cleaning stuff to ensure that everything runs really smoothly and customers have the best experience possible when they come through the doors of our station.

Its because she works to such a high standard and that she genuinely cares about customers that Atherton station is one of the best in the area and I think she should be recognised for her outstanding efforts.“
