Said the following about Craig Murphy:

“Craig's exceptional dedication to enhancing the safety and camaraderie within our team is truly commendable. As a driver mentor, he has tirelessly worked towards improving safety standards, demonstrating his commitment to creating a safer network for all. His warm and welcoming demeanour extends beyond the workplace. Craig's efforts in organizing the "Walk and Talk" event outside of work not only promoted physical well-being but also create a sense of unity.

Craig’s selfless dedication, mentorship contributions have fostered a sense of unity, support, and growth within our operations.

Craig was also the lead in putting together the Depot Liverpool Half Marathon in March 2023. After a brief conversation with another driver at Birkenhead Central and that colleague agreeing the idea started to snowball. After a conversation with his wife, Olivia they came up with an idea to involve more people in running the Liverpool Half Marathon. Craig then approached his friend Frank, who had been diagnosed with Parkinsons and asked if it was ok if he and a couple of others ran for Parkinson's UK in his name, to which he agreed. Sixteen others then agreed to join in.

He challenged and supported all team members who were at various levels of fitness. He and his wife created a WhatsApp group posting weekly motivational posts, arranged banners, arranged venue for afterwards, welcomed staff and family members to venue afterwards, arranged shirts for participants and communicated throughout.

The day was an emotional from start to finish, a day which will be remembered for a long time raising almost £9k for the cause!“
