“Chris gives up a day and evening of his time, every year to play the Role of Santa at Hedge End train station. Once he has decorated the waiting room, he greets Year R classes (4year olds) and reads them stories. He then helps them hang their homemade decorations on the station’s tree and answers their questions.
In the evening he attends the Christmas Fayre at the station and makes an appearance with the Berrywood School choir, giving them presents and having photos taken with the staff and children.
This event is the highlight of the school calendar for those little children. We are very grateful to him!“
