““Charles has demonstrated countless times not only just this year but in years prior his dedication to being the best with his acts of selflessness and willingness to go out of his way for anyone whilst in Southern uniform without ever asking for anything in return. Perhaps only that you should nominate him for this reward ;) but rightfully so when you consider the image he helps paint for the railway members of staff. This year he has helped resuscitate passed out individuals on the site of his station before Emergency services arrive to keep them alive, having the wherewithal to put them in a recovery position first. 3 days later had come back directly to him to thank him for the assistance provided on that day. Gone out of his way to help a terribly drunk man home after coming off a last train horribly drunk after no cab services would take him in. Amongst many more cases Charles continually goes out of his way for others. This is the type of dedication that deserves to be recognised and appreciated at the very least and hence why I am nominating him for this award this year““
