“Charlene started with Network Rail a little over 18 months ago. She joined us with no railway experience and started as a section admin. Charlene was only in this role for around 4 months before she got the opportunity to act as a PM. She took to the role like a duck to water within the first 6 months she had cleared all the F4 Reds that our depot had and had taken control of all of our projects. Before Charlene started our depot was in at risk of being dissolved she took total control of not only finance but the compliance as well as doing admin. She has recently managed us through DWWP with three QRSA and contingency plans for a big Xmas project which she saw through from start to end. Not only was this project delivered on time and budget it was delivered safely and to a high standard this was a massive achievement for our depot.“
“I didn't think you could top last year, which was the first RailStaff Awards I went to. But this year well and truly surpassed it. Everything from the layout, theme, awards presentation, (the hosts fabulous jacket!) to the entertainment. My guests were amazed by it and I was very lucky to be part of it. I am sure you guys had a bigger turn out then last year? Also the live band - what a great addition.”
