Erica led the team work with multiple stakeholders to create a solution to many tough, competing demands. Erica came up with the idea of engaging the services of a local historian to walk the proposed route with the team to understand the area and impact of the project. Erica dealt with all the stakeholders in a patient and friendly manner, while driving the project relentlessly against tight deadlines and budgets. Erica deserves this nomination for a professionally delivered project, according to the client's specification, taking into account the needs of the sensitive area.“

This part of the project is overflowing with stakeholders, and Erica's ability to manage and direct this amount of personnel has been very impressive.
Erica is relatively new to the railway industry (but not to Project management) compared to others on the project but has she not let this overwhelm her ability to keep the project moving towards its goal and meet the needs of the client. Erica's open mindedness has helped many of the stakeholders see the bigger picture and make the correct decisions based on the overall needs of the project and industry as a whole.
Erica has shown that she has all the skills needs to be voted the best Project Manager this year and she should be proud of her achievements to date.“
“Just a line to thank you for an absolutely incredible night. The night itself was really fantastic and I said to my wife, June, just let’s sit back and enjoy it: no pressure as I didn't really think that I would win! Well, as soon as 25 years were mentioned, I took one look at June, while shaking my head in disbelief. Then the marvelous rail and face shaped glittering award and a certificate as well…………………and then the (totally unexpected) cheque!. I was also extremely pleased to see David Maidment recognised. His achievement very appropriately wins the whole night for me and the standing ovation that he received was very well deserved. It was really worth being there just for that. Thanks again to all who were involved in this event (I am now drinking my coffee out of the Rail Seventeen cup at work!).”
