“Hi please see below letter we have received from a member of public regarding Richard Hoult and Adrian Taylor
I was involved in an incident where a patient who was in my care made her way to Tamworth train station to end her life by jumping in front of train. I wanted to express my gratitude and huge appreciation to the members of staff (sorry don’t know their names) who were on the platform and stopped her from reaching the bridge. Not only did they save her life, but they saved mine too. To experience that scenario and have the thought that you might watch your patient end their life is the worst part of caring for someone with a mental health illness. The two men were absolutely amazing. They remained calm, and composed and treated the person with respect and dignity at all times in an extremely stressful situation. I can’t express enough how amazing they were. If able please can this be passed on to Tamworth train station.“
