Said the following about Adam Corney:

“I had a request regarding a child in foster care, that has an interest in trains and Greater Anglia, to see if we could do anything for their birthday and Adam was an integral part of the day

He went out of his way to plan the entire day, with another colleague. They created him a folder with train pictures from Adam's own private collection, a reference book to fill in with who he saw and their jobs, located him branded goodies he could keep, sorted him a name and lanyard. He then spoke to a driver to see if he could see the inside of a train cab. Adam also stayed extra on his shift, without accepting any overtime to make he could make the day special and memorable. He also organised a free trip on a day of their choice, to a miniature railway he volunteers on, where he will personally show them around and they can learn what they do and ride on the trains all day, to make sure the memories continue
