“I would like to Nominate Yvonne for her hardwork and dedication to to Network Rail apprentice scheme.
Every year 200+ apprentices move away from their family homes and head to the Network Rail Academy in Gosport for their first years training.
the support that Yvonne gives to these apprentices every year is above and beyond what would be expected, dealing with any issues apprentices may have both professional and personal.
My own experience of this was when i was an apprentice myself and suffered the loss of 2 of my close friends, the support I recieved was brilliant and Yvonne made arrangements for me to attend both funerals, she also kept an eye on me when i returned to work.
Yvonne is due to retire in September and i would like to nominate her for recognition of the help and support she has provided to apprentices during her time in her role within their employment and personally.“
