“We our extremely lucky to have Will as part of our team here at Ely station. Not only does he always offer 5 star customer service to all our passengers that pass through our station, he also is a staff station adopter at Ely. Will volunteers his time to create all sorts of projects and upcycle items destined for the rubbish tip. He is our very own 'handyman' . Most recently Will has upcycled an old rusty notice board, made a bookcase for the waiting room for a book exchange, and re furbished some worn out planters on platform 1. Will goes above and beyond with his customer skills, always helps out mums with children and helps entertain them while waiting for trains, and also offers his assistance to passengers even if they haven't booked it. He will quite happily chat away with you until your train comes in, or gives you directions to the best spots in Ely if visiting for the day!“
