“On his first day in his role at the Station after completing his company induction and training, Wayne was faced with an ill passenger on the platform at St Pancras. He didn't panic, and he immediately assisted in giving CPR to the passenger who collapsed and stopped breathing before more support arrived from NR and an off-duty doctor on site. Wayne had First Aid training in his previous job which gave him the confidence to help the customer gain consciousness and possibly save the customer's life.
Considering it was it was his first day and he was new to the railway, he definitely demonstrated the values and behaviours of what is expected of a GTR employee.“
