Said the following about Stephen Clark:

“Steve is a Works Delivery Co-ordinator. Steve has worked in the rail industry since 1973. He worked for in house maintenance for Buildings and Civils and continues to diligently carry out his duties, examining structures, and being mindful of any safety risks for any installation in Western Works Delivery. Steve goes over and above what his work remit is, helping teams understand why work has to be carried out safely, examining the most practical effective and efficient ways to achieve long lasting results.

Steve also gets to know his team members and cares about their wellbeing as well as their safety- which gives comfort to his colleagues in his ability to work safely, be trusted, and connect with colleagues, regardless of role or experience. Steve demonstrates industry behaviours which are needed to help us succeed in our aims of keeping public and staff safe at work.

Steve has always worked in the Bristol area and is very passionate in delivering an excellent service to this part of the Western Business Route, for which he has a vast historical as well as working knowledge. He has recently been involved in the transition of Bristol temple meads station from GWR to NR and has transformed the maintenance regime, with his team, for the better at Bristol Temple Meads station. Steve was part of the team who carried out the initial refurb of BTM station roof 20 years ago, where he was a carpenter.“
