Nominations for Lifetime Achievement Award

Said the following about Andrew Brown:

“Andrew embodies why the depot run so smoothly, he has the respect of his peers and superiors, a respect earned due to his professionalism, hard work, technical expertise and a sheer bloody mindedness to complete the task at hand.

Experience gained over more than 30 years on the railway is patiently imparted to the newest Swietelsky depot recruits.

Last year Andrew headed a small team that successfully completed the first 10 year midlife complete overhaul to an AFM (On track machine), a vital asset to Swietelsky’s UK operation.

In summary Andrew has dedicated his working life to delivering excellence time and again, he is one of the railways unsung heroes quietly ensuring the railway keeps moving. I feel a lifetime achievement award would be a fitting acknowledgment of Andrews’s achievements.
