Said the following about Sharon Hershman:

“I have known Sharon for well over 20 years and despite her busy role as the local controller at Cannon Street she always takes the time to support her colleagues and is genuinely concerned in helping anyone who needs it.

I am aware that in her role in the local focus group she helps facilitate campaigns for local charities and organises local Health and Well-being fairs to ensure her colleagues are cared for with regards to their mental and physical health and also does the same at other locations such as London Bridge.

A very popular initiative is the International Food days she organises which galvanises her colleagues to prepare the food of various cultures and then donate it for the common good amongst staff, this in turn encourages staff to contribute towards local charities if they wish, it’s a great initiative as Train crew and other grades are also kindly invited which creates a wonderful atmosphere and sense of well-being and the food is fantastic!

Sharon also displays her selflessness with regards to the well-being of passengers by also volunteering her own time as a team leader for our Rail Care Team which provides support to passengers in the event of traumatic incidents.

Sharon is rightly considered a star for all she does and it would be great to see her recognised as she is so deserving.

Thank you“

Said the following about Sharon Hershman:

“Sharon works tirelessly to ensure that the health and wellbeing of all her colleagues is always tip-top. Through their work in the focus group the whole team ensures that they are always on hand if ever you need any advice and Sharon's door to the control point is always open to staff if they ever need a chat. I have been working for the company for 9 years and in all that time I have always come to her if ever needed help. Keep up the good work Sharon and all the Focus Group.“
