“I met Sarah Peters by chance whilst waiting in the reception of Interfleet Technology at Derby for an interview. Immediately I was made to feel welcome by her and she was able to draw out many connections between us, exhibiting a strong degree of interpersonal skill and relationship building. This was very encouraging and gave an excellent first impression of HR's attitude to employees. I was attending an interview for a senior position and during our conversation, this just prior to interview, again by chance, she demonstrated excellent knowledge of my CV and personal background, particularly with regard to one of my previous employers who operated in the energy market. It was evident that Sarah had done her homework and had strong memory, essential in order to get the results. Following the interview Sarah was my point of contact and during job offer conversations I personally accepted on numerous occasions that she was a highly competent individual by the tailored information she was communicating to me and her unique personal approach, importantly making me feel wanted by the organisation.

In summary, although my interactions with Sarah Peters lasted only around three weeks during job offer discussions and eventual acceptance, in that time it was obvious that she held responsibility and was able to negotiate good terms to secure my employment. I found the experience faultless and Sarah's involvement provided even more encouragement to join the organisation.“

She took a very personal approach to my application and interviews; communicating verbally by phone as opposed to relying on the more remote method via e-mail - this put me immediately at ease and was very reassuring.
