Said the following about Robert Murray:

“Bob Murray, who is a General Purpose Relief team member, was on shift at the ticket office working at the station with a member of our Ontrak team. Bob heard a shout from his colleague regarding a male individual who was attempting to trespass on the line, Bob was not in a Safety-critical role on that day, however, he was very quick to contact the signaller and request that trains be cautioned through the station, he then went out to the platform to attend to the individual who was vulnerable and distressed sitting on the edge of the platform, Bob sat and calmly chatted to the man regarding how he was feeling and trying to ascertain the situation, the man gave Bob his story which was very sad and Bob continued to talk with him. If Bob had not been there that day or indeed had the experience, knowledge, and calmness this situation would have most definitely had a much different and heart-breaking outcome. Bob continued his shift that day and showed up for work all that week with his usual professionalism. Bob's care, compassion, and quick thinking, saved the man's life and spared his family another tragedy that day and seeks no fuss or thanks for it, he simply says he was doing his job, which he was but that day he did it without reservation or thought for anyone but that gentleman.“
