“TSO Richard Scotton currently occupies the role of 2nd in command within our highly respected TSO team based out of Bradford, Rick has been a mainstay on the Northern TSO contract for 5 years and continues to thrive and excel with each passing day with his enthusiasm and passionate visible for all to see. Despite Rick being extremely respected and beloved from both colleagues and client within the East region he recently came forward to assist in another region despite it not being his responsibility to do so, This has consisted of Rick travelling across to Newcastle to lead the team and drive standards whilst we went through the interview process with the soon to be supervisor, a journey that takes over 2 hours to make has been no effort whatsoever for Rick due to his selfless attitude to put the contract and client first which is something we greatly admire and value.

Rick is a natural leader who takes immense pride in his work and regularly assists fellow officer's with additional training in a bid to maintain standards and ensure our clients expectations are met throughout. Rick is an integral part of all that we do as an operation and is greatly admired from railway staff and stakeholders alike across the Northern network. We are incredibly proud to call him one of our own and the railway is a safer place due to Rick's presence both onboard services and at stations.“
