Said the following about QTS HR Team:

“The QTS HR team has been tirelessly working through 2022 to implement a variety of fantastic new benefits being rolled out to our staff.

As our company continues to grow, Debbie Templeton and her team have been instrumental in cultivating a step change in how we retain our existing staff and attract new talent. We have flexed with the changing landscape from COVID and now allow our staff the opportunity to work in a hybrid fashion, where their job allows.

They have supported the implementation and roll out of an employee assistance programme, which offers a variety of support including mental health, financial and more to all employees and their family members.

They have worked with our board of directors to agree improved family focused terms including enhanced paternity pay and an additional five days annual leave for all staff. Leave days have also been introduced for the day you get married, moving house and when your child starts school. A new health care cash plan has also been launched for all employees, which provides financial assistance towards a range health-based and wellbeing treatments. Family members and dependants can also be added on if required. Recognising the increasing pressures of cost of living an extensive discounts and perks scheme has also been implemented to support employees with day-to-day costs.

A new policy on volunteering days has also been introduced, allowing our team up to three days per year, paid, to volunteer with a charity of their choice.

Together with senior leadership the HR team have presence on many steering groups throughout the organisation, including EDI, Mental Health, Employee Terms and Benefits and report to the board of directors regularly on feedback and suggestions for improvements, wider fully inclusive forums to encompass a wide representation from the business have also been created.

Recognising the contribution of all employees including our young people we have worked towards Investors in Young People accreditations, improving the employment experience of all new and current young employees, through mentoring and career development. They also work hard to improve employee engagement across the company.

The team continue to work hard to create and working environment that reflects the family centred caring ethos that QTS has been built on.“
