Said the following about Principle Contractor Team Crossrail West Outer:

“The Principle Contractor Team was established on the 12th December 2014 before an extremely busy Xmas period consisting of track renewals, demolition of 2 bridges, station redevelopment, major signalling and civils works. In the space of 2 weeks there was a significant improvement on buried services resulting in a new RAG process, major improvement on site documentation including a better standard of SSOW packs and task briefs and the intervention of site specific incidents that resulted in a Xmas blockade being free of incidents. Since then they have integrated work for 9 major contractors producing a concept that integrates all works safely including Network Rail maint teams and all plant access. They have shared best practice on the project and ensure closure of incidents within the required timescales. All access points have been assessed and a new delivery strategy put in place that ensures safe delivery of plant. A control centre has been established that reports all work as well as booking in all personnel on site which also monitors fatigue and on site working hours. All this was done within 3 months which was well beyond client expectation and is now seen as lead going forward in CMS 2015 and SWL. A fantastic achievement which is still growing in strength.“
