“I would like to nominate Phil Pitt who is a train manager for First Great Western based in Worcester.
Phil has worked for the railway for many years in various roles before taking on his current position. Worcester Train managers do full train preps in Hereford sidings and they also operate the ground frame to bring trains in and out of the sidings.
Over the past few years Phil has had both hips replaced but despite this he has returned to work and still does all aspects of a Worcester Train Manager.“
