“The Osborne possession planning teams based at Waterloo and Reigate (and managed by Glenn Wood at Waterloo) usually plan around 10,000 possessions and line blockages each year across the country, but mostly on Southern. These cover major projects, smaller projects and the Southern reactive maintenance works. Every period for 3 years they have completely smashed their KPI targets for safety and compliance and never seem o ever get recognised for it. Incidents and accidents relating to track access planning and implementation are a thing of the past and the systems that have been put in place and developed and monitored are second to none. They also lead and support almost every track worker safety initiative, and where others say things aren't possible, with time and determination and creativity they make them work. Without a doubt, and even the statistics prove it, this is the best performing Principal Contractor's Possession Planning team in the country. Safety and efficiency, a real rarity in our industry, and it should be acknowledged as setting the standard and the pace for others. Glenn Wood, Matt Hewett, Gavin Wood, Laurence Belcher, Justine Davies, John Pollard, Kieron Harris, Callum Woodcock, Calvin Rayner and Anthony Awonaya are a fantastic and diverse team, who do a great job, and clearly enjoy their work and their interfaces with customers and suppliers. High time we recognised them.“
