“Since joining Young Rail Professionals two years ago, the impact that Olivia White has had on YRP's success has been immeasurable. Olivia has completely transformed the way in which YRP markets and communicates to it's members and to the wider industry, and has been a driving force and ensuring the success of several regional and national projects including Rail Week, the Annual Dinner and Dance and the Corporate Engagement programme.

Olivia started in YRP as the marketing and communications manager for the London and South East region and quickly set the standard how we market events and opportunities. It was obvious to all early on that Olivia had a huge amount to offer YRP, and it wasn't long before she become to 'go-to' person for any support around marketing and communications.

Olivia was a leading force in delivering the communications strategy for Rail Week 2016, a huge pan-industry initiative which saw over 70 companies deliver over 150 events promoting the Railway Industry. The strategy that Olivia helped develop and implement was a huge contribution to the success of this event and, on the back of this, Olivia has now taken responsibility for developing and delivering the strategy for Rail Week 2017 which is set to be an even bigger success.

Olivia also co-led the delivery of YRP's annual dinner and dance earlier this year. The impact of Olivia's contribution in developing and marketing the event was obvious, as it was our best attended and, according to feedback from guests, best received dinner to date.

More recently, Olivia has taken on the daunting task of managing our National Corporate Membership Programme. Olivia has worked closely with our supporters from across the industry, generating sympathy and support for YRP's goals and developing lasting relationships essential to YRP's success.

Olivia has delivered all of this alongside a demanding day job and, throughout, has retained the infectious enthusiasm and 'can-do' attitude that she is known for within and outside the organisation.“
