Said the following about Neil Blundell:

“Neil has been with the railway for over 30 years, and all that time he has worked various roles in Retail, either Working in Ticket Offices, Announcing trains in the Bournemouth and Southampton area, taking on Health and Safety Roles for the union and SWR. Until 2005 when he took on the role in the Ticketing Control Unit, which was set up to support the Tickets offices as we moved forward with new ticketing systems, like Star, Then Worldline @station and also the Ticket Vending Machines and all the items that go with them. With Neil’s knowledge and interest in knowing how things work and fault finding he is a great fountain of knowledge for those last 18 years, coaching his colleagues and feeding back issues and suggestions on the equipment and software the ticket offices are using daily. He always seems to find an answer and is a great support to those that are new to stations and the railways.“
