“Mohammed works at the station as a Serrano Safeguarding Officer. This incident took place whilst he was patrolling the platform. His actions saved a woman from being hit by a train at the station. Mo was patrolling the platform when he saw a woman quite close to the edge and he asked her to step back. After a few minutes, a train was arriving and the women jumped onto the track, putting the woman at high risk of being hit by the train. Mo ran towards the train using hand signals in order to stop the train as this was an emergency. The train driver saw this and stopped the train approximately 10 feet away from the woman. The emergency services were called and the woman was taken to the hospital.
If it wasn't for Mo's quick thinking, the outcome could have been so different.“
