Said the following about Martina Galvin:

“I received some feedback from customers regarding Martina's excellent customer service:

'As a fairly regular user of Upminster station, I want you to be aware of a

member of staff called Martina, whenever she is on duty she goes above and beyond to help passengers. She is always based on the entrance adjacent to platform 1 and when someone passes through the barrier she will cheerily let them know when the next train is due and where it stops. Last night she even advised my wife and me that if we were coming back after a certain time then the train was only going as far as Barking. We were both touched by her help and willingness to assist, but this is a feature of her whenever I use the station and she is present.

Please can you pass on my thanks to her and her bosses as she typifies

customer service as it should be and I know from people I travel with and

overhearing other passengers' comments just how she adds positivity to the

journey.''

''Just to say that the lady that works on platform 1 is absolutely fantastic and I would be grateful if this could be passed to managers. She really cares about the passengers and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is informed and safe. A brilliant example of inclusivity working.''“
