Lucy is always looking for new and innovative ideas which could be used to make the company operations safer and protect our workforce. She is keen to take on initiatives proposed by our large clients such as London Underground and Network Rail.
Following our attainment of London Underground Beacon Status, which is an award given to sites which go above and beyond the normal safety standard, for two of our sites, Lucy has started an initiative to ensure that all of our sites, regardless of the client, achieve and maintain an equivalent standard to Beacon Status.
Lucy has developed and promoted a culture of behavioural safety at KN throughout office and site staff which has lead to a big increase in safety awareness at all levels of the company. Earlier this year she developed a safety stand down day where all site works were stood down and office and site staff attended a day of safety workshops at the company head office.
Lucy is an inspirational leader to her team of safety advisors and is always willing to put in extra time to ensure that safety is at the forefront of everything KN does.“
