“Kimone has implemented effective safety protocols, provided education and training on child safety, and actively worked to prevent accidents and protect children from harm. She has received excellent feedback from senior management at local schools on how engaging her assemblies are. She has worked tirelessly to encourage members of staff to report safeguarding issues and makes sure to send a personal message to every incident thanking them and encouraging them to carry on reporting.
She saved a young girl from jumping last year, she tried to throw herself in front of the train 3 times and I had to hold her back. She then tried to cut herself which was extremely distressing, Kimone held her arms to prevent further harm. The young lady then left and had a seizure so had to put her in recovery by Kimone and BTP, to save her life.
Kimone was part of the rail safety event at Margate where she gave her weekend to organise and implement the event alongside network rail. This was a rail safety aimed at educating children but also having fun.
Kimone has come to various revenue blocks later in the evening to support revenue and also recently helped with a Samaritans event. Promoting awareness of the fantastic work they do.
She has also organised ambassador training in-house to teach about safety and effectively passing the message on.

Kimone has been with my Safeguarding team on attachment for three months and Kimone's enthusiasm to educate children and develop is second to none and this is recognised by the head teacher of Haberdashers Knight Academy where Kimone has most recently provided inputs. Beyond this Kimone is an amazing person with a real passion for life.
