The RailStaff Awards 2024

Nominations for Apprentice of the Year

Callum Burns

Said the following about Kai Stratton-Taylor:

“Kai has impressed us during his first year as degree apprentice. His hard work and positive attitude make him easy to work with and gives confidence to project deliveries.

Kai has worked on a range of projects from collaborative large scale multi-discipline projects and small projects on his own supporting other teams. His ability to communicate and willingness to ask questions and learn allows him to develop design solutions effectively. This has also allowed him to identify any issues early in the process to allow them to be addressed before they become a problem.

Kai has shown good time management skills and awareness which helps him deliver work in a timely manner despite challenging project timescales.

Kai's hard work and good qualities leads to constant positive feedback from those who work with and it is my recommendation along with those who work with Kai that he should be RailStaff Awards Apprentice of the Year.“
